Local shops and amenities are a two minute drive, with plenty of restaurants located along US192 and HWY 27 only minutes away by car. If you fancy a trip out to the Coast, you'll find either the Gulf or Atlantic just over an hour away in either direction. Perfect also for checking out the Kennedy Space Centre or Busch Gardens. Highlands Reserve Orlando rental home guests will enjoy all the resort leisure amenities including the clubhouse with restaurant, community swimming pool, changing rooms, tennis court and children’s play area.
The focal point of the community is the Highlands Reserve Championship Golf Course which plays host to a PGA qualifier and numerous other tournaments and events throughout the year, offering golfers pine lined spacious fairways and some of the most challenging greens around. The championship Mike Dasher designed course features pine tree lined fairways reminiscent of the Carolinas and open spacious fairways likened to the great Scottish courses. Large, fast, undulating greens make this course challenging and fun for all levels of golfers. There is a professional golf shop, putting green, practice range and par 72 championship golf course; green fees are payable locally.

The Highlands Reserve Clubhouse is centrally located within the resort and provides bar snacks and drinks.

The community swimming pool is situated as you enter the resort through Highlands Reserve Boulevard on the left before you reach the Clubhouse. The resort pool is ideal for families and can also be used for lap swimming. Tennis courts are another of the facilities available in the resort. There is also a children’s play area in the community which is particularly nice for small children. The Clubhouse has changing rooms.

In addition there is a well stocked professional Golf shop which is open daily from 7am to 6pm. There is a practice facility offering an ideal spot to perfect your swing with target greens, a practice bunker, a chipping green and a large putting green. Buckets of golf balls can be purchased and range passes are available. Golf coaching is also offered by club pros.

Highlands Reserve Clubhouse and the Amenities are free to use for all guests in rental properties for the duration of the holiday.

Please note. Some of our homes may be pictured with a gas bbq grill or outdoor built in grill. If guests wish to use the grills it is the guest responsibility to clean the grill and replenish the propane tank if needed. A $50 charge will be applied if grills are left uncleaned. Exchange refill propane tanks can be purchased at numerous local locations. If the grill is locked up then it is not to be used by guests as it is the home owners personal grill.
